OASIS Objectives

• Support all UNL students, with an emphasis on supporting students of color.
• Give students of color and minority student organizations an opportunity to be in a familiar environment.
• Provide staff program coordinators who are familiar with the special needs of students of color on a predominantly white campus.

OASIS Vision

• To facilitate a supportive environment for students with an emphasis on students of color.
• To promote cultural and educational programs that celebrate, embrace, and enhance students' learning experiences.
• To establish links between students, faculty, and staff in organizing, developing, and participating in programs and services that promote the recruitment and retention of students of color.

OASIS Mission

• Provide services and programs that foster academic, cultural, social, and professional development.
