Satellite Tutoring and Advising Resources Center (STAR)
The STAR Center (Satellite Tutoring and Advising Resources Center) is a joint effort between the Office of Undergraduate Studies and Housing to provide walk-in academic advising and tutoring services to students within the residence hall environment. The STAR Center is located in Abel/Sandoz Welcome Center near the front desk.
The following services are offered on the following days and times:
Academic Advising by the Division of General Studies
Monday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Career Services
Wednesday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Academic Advising by the College of Arts and Sciences
Wednesday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM
College of Business, Director of First Year Programs offering assistance with BSAD 101 and general advising questions for CBA
Thursday from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Math Tutoring
Math tutoring is available for any 100-level course.
Wednesday 6:00-9:00 PM
Writing Assistance
Drop in consultation is provided by the Writing Assistance Center in the Welcome Center. However if you want to ensure a consultant will be there to help you when you stop by, sign up for an appointment at http://www.rich65.com/unl/
