Transfer Credit Equivalency Evaluation
Use this form to evaluate a transfer course to establish a UNL equivalent.
Courses should be evaluated by the UNL department which offers the equivalent course. A transfer course may have only one equivalent, but may be substituted for a cross listed course. Questions regarding the form or the process of evaluation should be directed to JoAnn Moseman (jmoseman2@unl.edu or (402) 472-9455).
NOTE: This form requires installation of Adobe Reader 8.0, a free download at www.adobe.com. It will allow you to save the form and the data. The form will not open with earlier versions of Adobe Reader.
UNL Faculty and Staff
If you are aware of transfer courses which need to be evaluated contact the Transfer Coordinator, JoAnn Moseman, jmoseman2@unl.edu. This might be a course that has never been evaluated, but has been substituted into a degree for one or more students. If you believe the course is appropriate for a UNL equivalent for all students, it should be evaluated. Once the equivalent is established, students will not need to contact the evaluator directly.
Directions for UNL Department Evaluator and/or College Official
Refer to the Transfer Credit Legend for appropriate credit designations. If the course is part of multiple equivalence (more than one course at either the transfer institution or UNL must be completed to satisfy the equivalence) use Section III B. Please verify that the transfer hours and the UNL equivalent course hours match. UNL cannot grant more credit than the transfer institution granted.
