AnnMarie has worked at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln since July of 2000. She began her work as a Residence Director for University Housing working with students, staff, and faculty who were involved with Learning Communities. In July of 2006, she became the Academic Learning Community Coordinator, responsible for overseeing all of the operations related to Learning and Scholars Communities at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. In her current position she works with faculty and staff from a number of colleges offering Learning and Scholars Communities that assist first year students in both their academic and social transition to the university.

AnnMarie received a Bachelors of Arts majoring in Sociology from Western Illinois University in 1998 and a Masters of Education specializing in College Student Affairs Leadership in 2000. AnnMarie was recognized by the Midwest region of the National Association of Student Affairs Practitioners as the outstanding young professional in 2005.
