Jon Sandridge
I have a BS and MS in Biology from Southeast Missouri State University and a Ph.D. (vintage 2001) from UNL. My interests are in herpetology (mainly lizards), behavior, communication and phylogeny. My recent research was aimed at finding out if a particular type of lizard is able to recognize other lizards as individuals; if you want to know more about that, I’ll talk your ear off. I do not currently have any research assignment, so am not able to offer any student worker positions.
In the past, I have taught Human Anatomy, General Ecology, General Biology, Ecology and Evolution, Comparative Anatomy and Biodiversity Labs, along with Organismic Biology, Introductory Zoology and General Biology Lectures. I am married and have young children, so sometimes I’m cranky.
