Ongoing Support for Students

Peer Mentors WHT scholars meet with one of 10 peer mentors, carefully chosen advanced-level students. Each scholar receives weekly emails from his or her mentor with information about upcoming activities, events, and university deadlines. Peer mentors are also available to answer questions and address concerns pertaining to being a student.

Tutoring Free tutoring is available in multiple subjects at the Culture Center and in the Student Union. The program also has 4 writing center consultants dedicated to the WHT Scholars who offer one-with-one consulting on writing.

F.A.C. (Friday Afternoon Club) Every Friday afternoon, we offer a space just for WHT Scholars where students can study and get some homework done before the weekend, meet in groups to work on class projects with other WHT Scholars, and meet with tutors and writing consultants.
