    Hello, I am Tiffany Mewes-Dunn, your 2012-2013 UNL PBL President. I am currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I am obtaining a major in International Business and Psychology with minors in Economics; Leadership and Communication; and Spanish.

    My FBLA-PBL career began my junior year at Southern High School. I have since served several leadership roles and received numerous awards. Without a doubt, the organization has helped shape the individual I am today. Now I take this opportunity to shape the organization by increasing not only membership numbers but membership involvement.

    In addition to PBL, I work at the University of Nebraska Foundation.  I also devote time to the Service and Leadership club and volunteer through Alternative Service Breaks, TeamMates, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Another campus group I have become involved with is the Multicultrual Business Student Association where I will serve as vice-president for the 2012-2013 school year.  When I do have free time, I love to read, kayak, and bike.

    Hello! My name is Marilyn Buresh and I am your UNL Chapter Vice President. I'm a senior majoring in Management with a minor in Communication Studies. This is my seventh year being involved with FBLA-PBL. I joined in 2006 at Lincoln Southwest High School and have held multiple leadership positions throughout the years. This organization has given me countless opportunities to grow personally and professionally. If you know one thing about me, it’s that I love to travel, meet new people, and make friends and PBL is the perfect venue for this.

    Outside of PBL I am involved in other organizations around campus and in the community. I am in the Cornhusker Marching Band’s drumline where I play cymbals. I serve as Historian and Leadership Chair for my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and intern for Talent Plus and Kaplan Test Prep. In my free time I mentor through TeamMates, dance, and read.

    Hi! My name is MaryAlice Karel, UNL PBL's 2012-2013 Secretary. Currently, I'’m a junior Accounting and Agribusiness major. My interests are in non-profit accounting and animal science with a focus in horses. I was very active in FBLA in high school and have carried my achievements over into PBL. Last year, I participated in the State Leadership conference and qualified for Nationals in multiple areas. I’'m excited for this year of PBL!

    Hi! My name is Torre Lespreance and I am the treasurer for Phi Beta Lambda during the 2012/2013 school year. I'm a senior studying business administration and finance and joined PBL for the first time ever last year, becoming actively involved and meeting a ton of great friends! PBL is an excellent way to get involved, travel, compete, and meet other people and you will enjoy it very much! My interests include baseball, cars, reading, and volunteering (just to name a few!). Outside of school I hold two jobs, wakeboard, and spend what time I can with family and friends!

    Hello! I’m Kaitlin and I’m an International Business major with a minor in German. I have been involved with PBL for about a year and  I’m excited to be more involved this year as Marketing Director. I am also a member of University Ambassadors and I am a Husker 
    Guide. I love traveling and can’t seem to stay in one place for too long. I mostly grew up in Idaho, which is probably why I love skiing and being in the mountains. I also like playing tennis. If you aren’t already in PBL, I hope you will consider joining!

    Hello UNL Phi Beta Lambda! I'm Josiah Hood, and I am honored to serve as your 2012-2013 website coordinator! I'm currently a sophomore with the Jeffrey S. Raikes School, where I am majoring in International Business.

    My FBLA-PBL career began as a freshman at Bellevue West High School, making this my sixth year of involvement with this organization. I have held leadership positions on both the state and local level. I look forward to expanding our professional division this year!

    Hello! My name is Daniel Kistler and I am your 2012-2013 UNL PBL Fundraising Chair. I am a junior Accounting and Finance major with hopes of someday starting my own financial services company. I live for Husker football and love to play all sports. I have been active in this organization for seven years and was an FBLA officer for three years. I am excited to have my first leadership role in PBL this year and become more involved in this organization. It should be a fun year and I look forward to another great year in PBL.

I am also social chair intern for my sorority, Delta Delta Delta and a Pepsi Service scholar. I am active in scholarship pageants and dancing.

    Hi! I am Brooke Sullivan, Social Chair of UNL PBL. I am currently in my senior year majoring in human resource management and psychology, with a minor in sociology. My ideal job after college is to work in a non-profit organization helping children and families in the community. This is my second year in PBL, and also the second year I have had the position of Social Chair. I have had an amazing experience of learning, meeting new people, and having fun with PBL. Aside from PBL, I am involved in Individuals Committed to the Achievement of Non-traditionals, Society for Human Resource Management – UNL Student Chapter, and UNL Service and Leadership Club. I also work for TRiO Programs – Educational Talent Search at UNL. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, attending concerts, and playing Wii.
