Hello, I am Tiffany Mewes-Dunn, your 2011-2012 UNL PBL Vice-President. I am currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I am obtaining a major in psychology and minors in business and Spanish.

My FBLA-PBL career began my junior year at Southern High School. I have since served several leadership roles and received numerous awards. Without a doubt, the organization has helped shape the individual I am today. Now I take this opportunity to shape the organization by increasing not only membership numbers but membership involvement.

In addition to PBL, I also write as an opinion columnist for the Daily Nebraskan and work at the University of Nebraska Foundation. I also spend time working in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory on campus. Volunteering as an ambassador for EducationQuest is another occupant of my schedule. When I do have free time, I love to read, kayak, and bike.

Hi! My name is MaryAlice Karel, UNL PBl’s 2011-2012 Secretary. Currently I’m a Sophomore Accounting and Agribusiness major. My interests are in non-profit accounting and animal science with a focus in horses. I was very active in FBLA in high school and have carried my achievements over into PBL. Last year I participated in the State Leadership conference and qualified for Nationals in multiple areas. I’m excited for this year of PBL!

My name is Eric Holley, I'm a sophomore Biochemistry major with minors in Math, Chemistry, Biology, and Energy Sciences. My goal after college is to get my PhD and to head my own research lab looking into alternative energy sources. If that doesn't pan out, then my back-up goal is to start my own candy store. I love to play basketball, golf, disc golf, tennis, and sand volleyball. I play a lot of video games and I love everything to do with music even though I'm not a very good musician. Lastly, I very much love and depend on my family and friends and I'm always open to more.

Hello! I am Katie Weander, Marketing Director for UNL PBL. I am a senior marketing major in the Raikes School of Computer Science and Management. FBLA-PBL has been a priority in my life since my freshman year of high school where I first experienced the benefits of networking, volunteering, and the thrill of leadership conferences. Throughout my seven years in this organization I have met so many extraordinary people and have grown so much from the business presentations, interview events, and networking opportunities.

Besides my role on the UNL leadership team, I serve on the state level as your Nebraska PBL Vice President of Communications. Outside of PBL, I intern at the University of Nebraska Foundation, am a teacher’s assistant for an introductory marketing class, and volunteer with my college youth group

This year I aim to stretch the PBL name and reputation further into our community. I hope to benefit our organization as local leaders, businesses, and all members of our area understand the importance of Phi Beta Lambda and the success of our chapter. From welcoming local entrepreneurs and alumni to our chapter events and meetings to enriching the reputation and following of UNL PBL, I strive to help our community grow from the accomplishments, energy, and talents our members bring whether it’s a keynote speech or a internship opportunity. Here’s to a remarkable 2011-2012 year as we enter the “Gateway to Greatness!” and celebrate Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda’s 50th year!

Greetings. I am a co-website coordinator for PBL at UNL. I am a Senior Finance major with a minor in Computer Science. I will be graduating from the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management this May. After graduating, I will begin my career as an Associate Financial Analyst at ConAgra Foods, Inc. in Omaha, NE. I was never in FBLA, but am a 4-year member of UNL PBL. It has been a great growth opportunity for me, consider joining!

Hi, I'm Nick Krieger, the Co-Web Chair for UNL PBL. I am a senior finance major with minors in actuarial science, computer science, and mathematics. I am also a member of the Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at UNL. In high school, I participated in FBLA for three years and have participated in PBL four years in college.

I will graduate in May 2012 and will work full-time at Deloitte and Touche in Omaha. I also love to play sports and participate on the Esther's Crew Intramural team.

Hello, my name is Jordan Clark, your 2012 UNL PBL Path to Success Coordinator. I am currently a senior Criminal Justice major with a minor in Spanish.

I have been involved with FBLA-PBL since eighth grade where I participated in the middle school division of FBLA. I was an active member of my local chapter of FBLA all four years of high school serving many different roles. I have been involved with PBL since my freshman year here at UNL when I served as the Head of CBA Recruitment. Last year, I served as the Coordinator for the Path to Success Conference. Along with serving as the PTS Coordinator, I have competed at three State Leadership Conferences and two National Leadership Conferences at the collegiate level.

Utilizing my many experiences with FBLA-PBL, I hope to plan a successful Path to Success Conference!

Hello! My name is Daniel Kistler and I am your 2011-2012 UNL PBL Fundraising Chair. I am a sophomore Accounting and Finance major with hopes of someday starting my own financial services company. I live for Husker football and love to play all sports. I have been active in this organization for six years and was an FBLA officer for three years. I am excited to have my first leadership role in PBL this year and become more involved in this organization. It should be a fun year and I look forward to another great year in PBL.

Hi, I'm Tosha Skinner. I'm a freshman pre-law major for Chadron, NE. I have been active in FBLA for three years, where I served as my local chapter vice-president and president. I am also social chair intern for my sorority, Delta Delta Delta and a Pepsi Service scholar. I am active in scholarship pageants and dancing.

Hello UNL Phi Beta Lambda! I'm Josiah Hood, and I am honored to serve as your 2011-2012 Professional Division Committee Chair! I'm currently a freshman with the Jeffrey S. Raikes School, where I am majoring in Computer Engineering.

My FBLA-PBL career began as a freshman at Bellevue West High School, making this my fifth year of involvement with this organization. I have held leadership position on both the state and local level. I look forward to expanding our professional division this year!
