Graduate Health Insurance 2007-2008
For Graduate Teaching Assistants, the health and dental insurance premium will be automatically billed through the student account. The University or external funding source will pay 79% of their premium, and the student with be responsible for the remaining 21%. The breakdown on student accounts will be:

Dependent insurance is also available at an added charge. Graduate Teaching Assistants who do not wish to have this coverage must sign a waiver for each semester they don't want coverage.

The student's cost for individual coverage will be posted to their student account. We encourage all students to participate in the program, because similar policies from other insurers are more costly plus covered medical expenses incurred at the University Health Center are fully paid with waiver of the policy year deductible, dental coverage is included.
