A survey of recent developments in continental philosophy, in particular of different forms of social criticism which it has generated. It includes discussion of Marxists, Foucault and other philosophers influenced by Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, the existentialists, and Derrida.
Prerequisite: All 300-level philosophy courses have a prerequisite of 3 hours of philosophy, or permission of the instructor.
Frequency: Philosophy 341 is offered irregularly.
