The Center sponsors long-term research programs, multidisciplinary journals, and other publications on plains topics. Great Plains Quarterly and Great Plains Research are multidisciplinary journals promoting research and creative scholarship on plains topics. The Encyclopedia of the Great Plains and the Journals of Lewis & Clark are long-term projects unique to the Center for Great Plains Studies.
