Prairie Freedom Project

The Progressive Student Coalition is excited to partner with Nebraska Appleseed and the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights to host the first ever Prairie Freedom Project,

Project Overview

The Prairie Freedom Project will build strategic relationships with students and community members from across the state through an intensive, interactive three - session workshop model.

The Project will build upon shared experiences of exploitation and resilience among communities to explore how constitutional protections such as due process, equal protection and constitutional citizenship can ignite new organizing and advocacy to fight for our rights now.

The goal of the project is to build long-term, multi-ethnic, multi-generational power across Nebraska through leaders who use communication and intersecting experiences to expand a progressive narrative and agenda.
