Ultimately, we believe that effective strategies for reducing compulsive drug use will require a multi-faceted approach in which genetic, neurobiological, individual, social, and cultural factors are considered. If you subscribe to this belief, then transdisciplinary research is critical to the advancement of our science and ultimately our therapeutic tools.
