    The Academic Planning Committee (APC) is a university-wide group responsible for formulating and recommending academic and planning goals and initiatives for UNL in the areas of education (resident and extension), research, and service to the Academic Senate, Colleges, and Chancellor. These goals are coordinated with the responsibilities assigned to UNL as part of the structure under the control of the President of the University of Nebraska and the Board of Regents.

  • Interlibrary Loan Code for Nebraska from the Nebraska Library Commission
    This code is a voluntary agreement adopted by the Nebraska Library Association on October 25, 1990, to govern lending in Nebraska. It is intended to address general policies rather than specific procedures, given the changing nature of technologies and techniques. The code is further intended as a complement, not an impediment, to other resource sharing agreements.

    The Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA) is a consortium of 31 research libraries located in the greater Midwest & Western U. S. with common interests in programs related to scholarly communication, interlibrary loan, shared electronic resources, cooperative collection development, digital libraries, staff development and continuing education.

    Rapid Access Processing & Information Delivery is a fast, cost-effective, innovative resource sharing system designed and implemented by Colorado State University Libraries' Interlibrary Loan department.

  • Great Plains IDEA
    The Great Plains IDEA is an award-winning multi-state alliance lead by Human Sciences Colleges, founded in 1994, as a means to create a marketplace for sharing distance education courses and programs at the graduate level. Combining today's emerging technologies with program-based alliances, it utilizes the growing field of distance education to connect students around the country and afford them the opportunity to be admitted to one member institution and study at other member institutions via Internet-based courses.
  • International Sorghum and Millet Collaborative Research Support Program
    INTSORMIL focuses international, collaborative research to improve nutrition and increase income in developing countries and the United States. Scientists from U.S Land Grant Universities and collaborating scientists in developing countries provide useful technology to improve production and utilization of sorghum and millet and improve natural resource management.
  • Rural Policy Research Institute
    The Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI) conducts policy-relevant research and facilitates public dialogue to assist policymakers in understanding the rural impacts of public policies and programs.
