NEW LOOK - The Cornhusker Marching Band will travel with a new trailer, purchased through a donation by a UNL band alumnus. The used, 53-foot trailer was redesigned by Jon Humiston, creative director for University Communications. Werner Enterprises drove the trailer to Nebraska for free. Renovation work was completed by Jim Hawk Truck and Trailer in Omaha and the Lincoln Truck Center. Interior work is being completed by Facilities Management and Planning. The trailer will be on display at Memorial Stadium during the band's Aug. 22 performance. Courtesy photo.

The performance features a preview of the band's pre-game show for the 2008 Husker football season. The event is free and open to the public.

Gates 3 and 11 will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is available in the lower level of the west stands. For more information, go to www.unl.edu/band or call 472-2505.
