Reception to Honor Buros Art Collection
The Oscar and Luella Buros Center for Testing will give a reception
in honor of the recently acquired Luella Buros art collection from 1:30
to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Oscar K. Buros Library, 104 Bancroft Hall. A
short program will be presented, followed by a tour of the collection.
Refreshments will be served.
The collection features oil and watercolor works by Luella Buros, wife
of Institute founder Oscar Buros, bequeathed to the center following her
recent death. An avid artist and collector, Luella Buros also gave the
University of Nebraska State Museum an extensive collection of African
art.
