A Break in the Action
The U.S. Women's Paralympic Basketball team competes in an inter-squad
game June 29 at the UNL Coliseum. Led by coach Deb Sunderman and
assistant coach Frank Brasile (a professor at UNO) the team showcased its
talents in a basketball training camp from June 27-29 in preparation for
the Aug. 17 start of the Paralympics in Atlanta. The camp, sponsored by
UNL and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, also featured a game between the
women and UNL's Rolling Storm wheelchair basketball team.
