Ludden Honored for Niobrara Story
Nebraska Nightly associate producer Keith Ludden won First Prize
in the Best Investigative Story category from the Public Radio News
Directors
Incorporated (PRNDI) at their annual meeting in July. His feature story,
Niobrara Bridge, examined the issue of whether a bridge should be
built across the Missouri River at Niobrara, giving residents of the
Santee
tribe better access to health care and possibly stimulating economic
development.
In the absence of a bridge, there remains a 100-mile stretch of the
Missouri
without a crossing.
