UAAD Recognizes Exceptional Service
Winners of UAAD's Floyd S. Oldt Award and the Carl Donaldson Award were
recognized by UAAD and Chancellor James Moeser at presentations Feb. 19.
The 1997 winner of the Floyd S. Oldt Award for Exceptional Service to the
university was Linda Roos (top photo), manager of user education for
Information
Technology Support. Roos has held this position since 1988 and is
responsible
for Internet training classes for faculty, students and staff. She also
is a doctoral student in Educational Psychology.
The 1997 winner of the Carl Donaldson Award was Dan Duncan (bottom
photo),
director/supervisor of the University of Nebraska Agricultural Research
and Development Center in Ithaca. Duncan has been in this position since
1991 and was previously operations manager for the Panhandle Research and
Extension Center in Scottsbluff. He has 29 employees and a center budget
in excess of $2 million.
