National Merit/National Achievement/National Hispanic Scholarships
For the 2007-2008 academic year, National Merit Scholars who list UNL as their college of first choice with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation prior to April 25th are eligible for full tuition coverage plus additional University awards annually. This support is in addition to their College Sponsored, Corporate or National stipends.
National Achievement and Hispanic Recognition Scholars are eligible for full tuition coverage plus $2,000 annually from University awards.
Continuation of full tuition coverage and University awards for up to 135 credit hours or completion of a bachelor's degree, whichever comes first, inclusive of all undergraduate coursework at all postsecondary institutions attended, for National Merit, Achievement and Hispanic Recognition Scholars is contingent upon maintaining a cumulative grade point average of a 3.5, successful completion of 24 credit hours each academic year (fall and spring semesters) and successful completion of nine graded hours (not pass/no pass) each semester. Review of renewal criteria will be made at the end of each spring semester.
- National Achievement or Hispanic Recognition Scholarship: Full tuition plus $2,000 in University awards.
- College Sponsored Scholarship: Full tuition, plus $2,000 in University awards (includes college sponsored stipend).
- Corporate or National Scholarship: Full tuition, National Merit Corporate or National stipend, plus $2,000 in University awards.
