Providing trial and jury consultation services, including jury selection, witness preparation, mock juries, focus groups, preparation of demonstrative evidence, and trial strategies.
Identifying and contacting consultants or potential expert witnesses by analyzing issues on which expertise may be needed, contacting individuals with the relevant needed expertise, evaluating the impact of potential experts, and preparing identified experts for trial.
Assembling and directing research teams to assist consultants/expert witnesses to gather information to serve either as the basis of subsequent expert testimony or to supplement experts' existing knowledge on the topic
Assisting with pre-litigation strategy and analysis to identify, assess, and clarify potential issues where additional expertise, research and consultation may be necessary.

SRL, Inc., a nonprofit organization supported by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), has been established to facilitate the ability of attorneys to draw upon and utilize the expertise and resources of UNL and other highly-respected centers of higher education. SRL is unique because of its immediate access to the extensive faculty, student, and education-related resources at UNL, and because it is able to provide the quality services associated with a major research university. Furthermore, SRL's relationship with UNL facilitates access to other educational institutions when an expertise is sought that is not immediately available at UNL.
