The objectives of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln Student Money Management Advisory Board include:Program Development and Improvement
The Student Advisory board will advise SMMC representatives on plans for the following semester, including workshops, events, educational resources, and other program plans. The Advisory board will provide suggestions and recommendations for program improvements.Financial Education Resources
The Student Advisory board will provide insight into financial topics, program curriculum, and educational resources that are critical to college students.Community/Public Relations
The Student Advisory board will assist in the development of community relations and help build awareness of the UNL Student Money Management Center, and create opportunities for further collaborations and partnerships.Assist with SMMC Activities as Needed
The Student Advisory board will assist with publicity events, financial education events, and other program activities as their schedules permit.
Student Advisory Board Details
The UNL Student Money Management Advisory Board will meet once each semester. Each meeting will consist of a one-to-two hour discussion. There may also be some follow-up discussion by email.
