This section on the COMM 109 web site is intended to provide students with helpful information about the course. All information contained in this web site supplements information in your study guide and syllabus. The following topics are available:

• Studying more effectively. Empirical research and conventional wisdom suggests that "learning through osmosis" simply doesn't work. Students must learn to study effectively if they wish to succeed. This link offers a detailed "plan" for students to become better studiers in COMM 109 .We strongly suggest that you check this out.
• Lecture notes for required days. This link provides students with the lecture notes used on all required days.
• Description of speaking assignments. Three Speeches are given in COMM 109. This link provides a detailed description of each speech.
