University of Nebraska – Lincoln has developed a web-based instrument which creates an individualized accommodation plan for students with specific or multiple disabilities. Accommodation Solutions Online (ASO) provides a personalized menu of accommodations based on the student's cognitive and physical characteristics in conjunction with the essential activities or academic requirements of a post-secondary institution.
To receive accommodations at UNL, a student must submit documentation of his/her disability to the SSD office. This can be done by faxing information to 402-472-0080. Once the documentation is received in the SSD office, a staff person will call to schedule an appointment with the director or assistant director.
