Health Center
As a participant, you will have full access to the University Health Center. This includes general care, a pharmacy, and several specialists including counseling, dentistry, optometry, gynecology, dermatology and physical therapy. There is no charge for primary care and the fees for the specialists are reasonable for the services provided. We encourage you to maintain your own health insurance over the summer as access to the clinic is not the same as insurance coverage.
Recreation Center
The Campus Recreation Center is free for your use as a participant in the Nebraska Summer Research Program. The facilities include:
- Strength training and conditioning room
- Indoor and outdoor tracks
- Swimming pool
- On-site physical therapists
- Climbing wall

- Indoor football field
- Basketball, volleyball, badminton, and racquetball courts

Libraries
The primary library on campus that you will use is Love Library. It's surrounded by two beautiful botanical areas and provides a comfortable, secure environment for research. Your primary research will be lab based, but there will be occasion to use sources found here. Mathematics students will also use the Mathematics Library, housed in Avery Hall.
