Transportation
We will provide roundtrip airfare to Lincoln, NE or reimburse mileage up to the cost of airfare. Parking passes will be included, and bus passes are available upon request. The University Nebraska-Lincoln is located in downtown Lincoln, NE, and a car is not necessary. Shops, entertainment, and a variety of services are all within walking distance. Lincoln's population is approximately 230,000 and is a very safe Midwestern city.
Housing and Dining

Program participants traditionally stay in either Selleck or Neihardt halls, which are centrally located on campus. The rooms are double occupancy, which will give you the opportunity to interact with your fellow Nebraska Summer Researchers. Sheets, pillow, pillowcase, bedspread/blanket, and daily towel exchange are included. Nebraska is a dry campus, and alcohol is not allowed in the residence halls.
In addition to departmental meals, picnics and downtown Lincoln restaurants, you will eat at the Selleck Dining Center. The dining hall is a market-place style eatery with stone-baked pizza, pasta and more, made-to-order deli and soup bar, ethnic cuisine, omelet bar, traditional fare, American grill, extensive salad bar, and a bakery case filled with delectable treats.
