Notes:

The University-Wide Assessment Coordinator (now Director of Institutional Assessment) is a resource available to the UNL community in its assessment efforts.

The mission of the Teaching and Learning Center, to assist individual faculty or individual units improve their teaching and learning, also compliments the purpose of outcomes assessment.

Assistance from these resources could include but are not limited to:

  • individual consultations or workshops,
  • resources such as literature on concepts and methodologies, or
  • tools used by others as a basis for a unit's own assessment activities.
