College of Business Administration Dean Search
Welcome

September 21, 2009

Dear UNL Faculty, Staff, Students, and Friends of the University,

On behalf of the Search Committee, I welcome you to this web site dedicated to the search for our next Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Under the seasoned leadership of Dean Cynthia Milligan, the College of Business Administration has made great strides in achieving many of the goals set forth by its mission. A charter member of the AACSB, the UNL College of Business Administration is fully accredited. It has been a leader in business education for many decades and has a great future ahead. We are deeply grateful for Dean Milligan's many contributions to the college and the University of Nebraska.

To assist us with the search, I have engaged Paul H.L. Chou, from the global search firm Russell Reynolds Associates. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the search committee and to College of Engineering Dean David Allen, who graciously accepted my request to chair the search. Armed with the experience and knowledge that Paul brings to us, they will represent our university's best interests as they bring candidates to our attention. With your help in spreading the word about the excellent work and potential of UNL's College of Business Administration, I am confident that our collective efforts will deliver a dynamic leader who will engage and inspire the college, the broader university, its constituents, partners, and stakeholders.

The search for a new dean will continue through fall 2009, and we anticipate naming a successful candidate by early 2010. As is customary, the search will be conducted in strict confidence in order to protect candidate identities, but further information will, at the appropriate time, be made available on this site regarding the campus visits for the finalists. In the mean time, I encourage you to send applications and nominations of qualified candidates to:
