Preparing for the Future: Higher Learning Commission Accreditation Criterion Two

As a component of the 2006 North Central Accreditation process, The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will focus on the development of the newly adopted strategic planning process. Specifically strategic planning will provide the focus of the response to Criterion Two:

Preparing for the Future

"The organization's allocation of resources and its processes for evaluation and planning demonstrate its capacity to fulfill its mission, improve the quality of its education, and respond to future challenges and opportunities."

A task force has been appointed to draft a response to this criterion. Although the report will identify numerous other planning activities on campus, the focus on the recent adoption of the campus strategic planning process and the expectations for the process will provide a context for strong response to Criterion Two.
