RE: Programs of Excellence Requests for New AY 06/07 Funding
DATE: January 5, 2006
This memorandum announces our invitation for competitive pre-proposals for the Program of Excellence (PoE) to be submitted by colleges, departments, and other units. Pre-proposals must build on existing, funded PoE priorities or support priorities that have been identified in strategic plans. A copy of this memo will also be sent to our primary contacts for existing programs that have received PoE funding to date. Submissions are due February 20, 2006 in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Last year's total funding base was $585,213 and we are anticipating an increase in AY 2006-07 available for awards.
