Progress made by UNL colleges on faculty database
UNL is in the early stages of launching a new project called the Faculty Database. Student workers are entering publication and presentation data from faculty curriculum vitas (CVs). The goal is to have the entire campus using the system within three years. As of August 5, 2009, here is where UNL colleges stand with completing this database.
Architecture - Pending;
Arts and Sciences - Piloting;
Business Administration - Completed June 5, 2009;
Education and Human Sciences - Pending development of data transfer service between eARFA and Activity Insight;
Engineering - Piloting;

Fine and Performing Arts - Pending development of data transfer service between eARFA and Activity Insight;
Journalism and Mass Communications - Pending;

College Deployment Plan
This list offers a step-by-step plan for colleges working on this project.
- College chooses project lead and liaison.
- College chooses test group of faculty to pilot the default website layout and reports. Student workers are available to enter data into Activity Insight™ from existing CV's.
- College suggests changes to data input screens and report formats. College requests additional report formats. Digital Measures makes the approved changes.
- College submits faculty CVs to Academic Affairs. Student workers enter data from the CVs. Faculty proof data entry.
- College instance of Activity Insight™ goes live.
