Course Objectives
By the conclusion of this workshop, particpants should be able to do the following:
- understand how to use multimedia sofware such as Adobe Persuasion, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Hyperstudio
- create a World Wide Web page
- operate a Macintosh computer and take full advantage of the numerous features available in a LAN environment
- digitize sound, still images, and video for incorporation into multimedia projects
- understand the effectiveness of multimedia to facilitate teaching and enhance learning
- understand how to use Internet resources to facilitate teaching and enhance learning
- recognize the benefits of putting multimedia tools in the hands of students to demonstrate knowledge acquisition
