Shirley Carr Mason received her B.A. from the University of London, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Colorado.  She taught acting, voice, and Shakespeare classes, directed plays, and advised undergraduate and graduate students during her 14+ years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
