Scholarship

Kappa Alpha Theta creates and maintains an atmosphere that stimulates scholarship and achievement among its members. The concern to achieve the highest academic standard is of utmost importance to the women of Kappa Alpha Theta. Every semester it is Theta’s goal to achieve one of the top GPA’s on campus, and we have reached this goal numerous times. During the fall semester of 2003 Kappa Alpha Theta received the 3rd highest GPA among all sororities with an all house GPA of 3.434. In the Spring of 2007, Theta improved its overall house GPA to 3.417, and was ranked 4th out of the 14 panhellenic houses on campus.

Theta also offers study hours for all women in the house. Whether at the Library or in the house, the girls can always find a quiet place to focus and concentrate on their studies. Another academic resource to benefit the women of Theta is having a Twin Star. Your Twin Star can help you plan your schedule for the semester or answer any questions you may have about academics.

Involvement

Many girls have received scholarships, been inducted into honor societies, and are involved in various organizations and activities on campus and in the community. The scholarship program at Theta works to help the women do their very best and achieve success.
