Summer Program/ Bridge
Summer Institute:
For six weeks each summer, from mid June until the end of July, the students live in the residence halls on the selected college campus and take academic enrichment classes. As a part of the summer program, faculty and staff will coordinate field trips to area sites where students will use classroom knowledge in real life settings. Students will learn about college life through the residential experience. Students will live on a residence hall floor, be involved in evening activities and programs, and learn to live in a community with their peers, just like college students.
Bridge Program:
Once students have completed their senior year they will be eligible for the Summer Bridge program. During the summer, Bridge students live on campus and take college classes. The Summer Bridge program students will earn college credits. Tuition, fees and books are paid by the Northeast Upward Bound project upon successful completion of the program.
