2009
Monday, August 24 - First Semester Classes begin
Wednesday, September 2, 4:00-5:00 p.m. - UCARE Fall Kick-Off, Nebraska Union
2010
Monday, January 11 - Second Semester Classes begin
Friday, February 12 - UCARE Application Deadline for AY 2010-2010 - ALL continuing UCARE students must submit a new application form. All UCARE students must submit in writing (the application) their intentions, whether to continue or not, to the Director of Undergraduate Research, Dr. Laura Damuth, by this date.
March 14-21 - Spring Vacation
March 26 - Registration deadline for the Undergraduate Research Conference. All 2nd year UCARE students and 2009 graduating UCARE students (May and August) are expected to participate. Poster displays are encouraged.
April 8 - Undergraduate Research Conference
Early April - Announcements of 2010-11 UCARE Awards
Mid-April - 2010-11 UCARE awards must be formally accepted by this date.
Early June - New Pepsi UCARE money available for the next academic year (2010-11)
June 30 - Unused Funding Cycle 2 (PoE) UCARE money reverts back to the Office of Undergraduate Studies
