Monday, August 27 - First Semester Classes begin

2008
Monday, January 14 - Second Semester Classes begin
Friday, February 15 - UCARE Application Deadline for 2008-09 - ALL continuing UCARE students must submit a new application form. All UCARE students must submit in writing their intentions, whether to continue or not, to the Director of Undergraduate Research by this date.
Monday, February 25, 11:00 a.m. - Poster Information Session (City Campus Union)
Thursday, February 28, 6:00 p.m. - Poster Information Session (East Campus Union)
Wednesday, March 5, 4:00 p.m. - Poster Information Session (City Campus Union)
Friday, March 14 - Registration deadline for the Undergraduate Research Conference. All 2nd year UCARE students and 2008 graduating UCARE students (May and August) are expected to participate. Poster displays are encouraged.
MARCH 16-23 - Spring Vacation
Thursday, April 3 - Undergraduate Research Conference (UNL Research Fair)
Early April - Announcements of 2008-09 UCARE Awards
Monday, April 14 - 2008-09 UCARE awards must be formally accepted by this date.
Early June - New Pepsi UCARE money available for the next academic year (2008-09)
June 30 - Unused Funding Cycle 2 (PoE) UCARE money reverts back to the Office of Undergraduate Studies
