UNL HOMECOMING ROYALTY FINALISTS SELECTED

Lincoln (Neb.) - Oct. 6, 1998 - Twenty-two students have been selected as Homecoming royalty finalists at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The Homecoming king and queen will be voted on by the student body in a campuswide election Oct. 14 and will be crowned during the halftime festivities of the Nebraska-Kansas football game at Memorial Stadium.

The candidates for 1998 royalty are listed below, alphabetically by hometown. Also included are the candidates' academic majors, scholarships, activities and honors, and names of parents. All royalty candidates are seniors.

NEBRASKA

Ainsworth: Molly Ann Weichman, biology, National Merit, Regents and World-Herald scholarships, Golden Key Honor Society, Mortar Board Honorary, Tri-Beta, Honors Program, BryanLGH Hospital volunteer, P.E.O., Salvation Army volunteer, daughter of Denton and Ann Weichman.
