Lincoln (Neb.) - Dec. 2, 1997 - A new service at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers supervised activities for children in a day-care setting while their parents tend to holiday errands for two Saturdays this month.
Coordinated by the university's Office of Campus Recreation, Drop-n-Shop will run from noon to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6 and 13. Children between 1 and 12 years old will be supervised by Campus Recreation staff and university students. Children will be grouped by age and participate in age-appropriate activities and games.
Fees range from $8 to $17 per child per day depending
on Campus Rec membership status and early or late
registration. Pre-registration is required. Walk-ins and
phone registrations will be accepted at Campus Rec from 8
a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 472-3467 for
