'MOONWITCH' IS PLANETARIUM ASTRONOMY SHOW IN OCTOBER

Lincoln (Neb.) - Sept. 28, 2000 - "Moonwitch," a fun family show about the moon, will be the astronomy show Oct. 1-22 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Mueller Planetarium.

The show takes place as two children, Diana and her brother Billy, go out trick-or-treating on Halloween and notice a number of things about the moon. The 30-minute program begins with an introduction to the fall sky.

"Moonwitch" will be presented Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m., except Oct. 21, when there is a home football game. The last weekend of October will be devoted to the planetarium's special Halloween laser shows.

Mueller Planetarium is located in the University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall), 14th and U streets on City Campus. Admission for astronomy shows is $4 for adults and $3 for elementary, secondary, college and graduate students, as well as senior citizens. Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before show time.
