Spade, one of the most prominent stand-up comedians, gets audiences rolling with his witty, self-deprecating humor and his uncanny ability to deliver an insult with grace and precision.
He has earned high acclaim with his memorable characters on "Saturday Night Live." Some of his most unforgettable characters include "Weekend Update's Hollywood Minute" reporter, the receptionist-from-hell, one of the Gap girls, and the flight attendant who insulted passengers and rushed them off the plane with this "buh-bye." He eventually became a staff writer in addition to being a cast member and created his own segment, "Spade in America."
Spade has further shown talent in such movies as "Tommy Boy" and "Lost
and Found" (for which he wrote the screenplay), and his NBC television
sitcom role as Dennis Finch in "Just Shoot Me," and guest host
appearances on MTV.
