Lincoln (Neb.) - Oct. 18, 2000 - Comedian Jay Mohr will bring his fresh routines to the stage of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Lied Center for Performing Arts on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Mohr's performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $4 for UNL students with valid ID and $8 for the general public (students may also buy one non-student ticket in addition to their one student ticket). Tickets are on sale at the Lied Center box office, 301 N. 12th St.
Mohr is filming "Pay it Forward" with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt, and recently starred as Peter Dragon in the Fox television show "Action." The multi-talented Mohr had his critically acclaimed breakthrough role as a rival agent to Tom Cruise's "Jerry Maguire" in the 1996 hit film.
He first won over audiences as a regular on "Saturday Night Live," beginning in 1993, entertaining viewers with his dead-on impressions of Christopher Walken, Rikki Lake, Dick Vitale, Sean Penn and others.
Mohr's appearance is sponsored by the University Program Council.
