Lincoln, (Neb.) - Nov. 6, 2000 -The NU defensive line will no doubt smash the CU Buffs' offense flatter than pancakes when the Big Red takes on Colorado Nov. 24 in Lincoln, and Husker fans will enjoy a unique way to savor the victory.
Come "Flip the Buffs" at the Nebraska Alumni Association's first-ever Husker Huddle Pancake Feed from 8:30 to 10 a.m. that day in the Wick Alumni Center. The game kicks off at 11 a.m.
For only $2, participants can load up at the Huddle training table with all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and drinks. The pancakes will be served hot off the griddle by the Pancake Man, whose flamboyant cooking and serving style are sure to leave fans breathless, but not hungry. He'll toss hotcakes higher than a Dan Hadenfeldt punt and throw them farther than a Josh Brown kick - all with the accuracy of Eric Crouch.
The Husker Huddle also will feature ex-Huskers signing autographs, music from disc jockey Craig Estudillo, live entertainment and door prizes.
Don't miss this one-of-kind pep rally. The first 50 people through the
door that morning eat free.
