Lincoln (Neb.) - Sept. 14, 2001 - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Speakers Bureau begins its seventh year this fall. This free service connects faculty and other university experts with service organizations, schools, and other groups who want knowledgeable, interesting speakers on a variety of topics.
Last year, 155 speaking engagements were booked. Some audiences were as small as eight members and others as large as 200. An estimated 6,200 people were reached by university experts through the bureau.
