Lincoln (Neb.) - Nov. 9, 2001 - University of Nebraska-Lincoln students in the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences program will show their research efforts at a symposium from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Nebraska Union, 1400 R St.
The free public event will feature research work by students in biochemistry, biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, environmental studies, geography, history, interior design, marketing, math, political science and psychology.
Poster sessions are scheduled from 3 to 3:40 p.m. and 5:30 to 6 p.m. with formal presentations from 3:40 to 5:30 p.m.
UCARE, supported by the Office of Academic Affairs and funded by the Pepsi Endowment, provides funding for undergraduates to work alongside faculty members and directly participate in UNL's research or creative activities.
