College of Law to Host Ethics Conference Nov. 15

Lincoln, Neb., Nov. 7, 2002 -- The University of Nebraska College of Law will host an Ethics Conference on Nebraska and the Model Rules of Professional Conduct Nov. 15 in Ross McCollum Hall, East Campus Loop and Fair Street.

The conference will feature nationally and internationally known scholars of legal ethics who will discuss recent changes to the Model Rules of Professional Conduct.

Speakers will include: Geoffrey Hazard, trustee professor of law and director emeritus of the American Law Institute, University of Pennsylvania Law School; Stephen Kalish, Margaret R. Larson professor of legal ethics, University of Nebraska College of Law; Susan Martyn, Stoepler professor of law and values, University of Toledo College of Law; Susan Poser, assistant professor of law, NU College of Law; Bradley Wendel, assistant professor of law and alumni faculty fellow, Washington and Lee University School of Law.

John Hendry, chief justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court, will provide welcoming remarks.
