Lincoln, Neb., Dec. 6, 2002--Mueller Planetarium at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its schedule of Christmas and holiday laser light shows for December.
The planetarium will present eight showings of "Christmas Laser Fantasy," featuring the music of Mannheim Steamroller; two showings of "Holiday Laser," featuring classic performances by Bing Crosby, Burl Ives, Gene Autry, Judy Garland and others at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 14 and 15; "Laser Country Christmas" at 7 p.m. Dec. 13, with traditional Christmas songs sung by country music artists such as Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks and others; and the "Pop Holiday Laser Celebration," a new show featuring contemporary pop top-40 artists, at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 22.
The schedule for "Christmas Laser Fantasy" is Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., Dec. 8 at 2 and 3:30 p.m., and Dec. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 2 p.m.
General admission is $6 for afternoon shows and $5 for the evening presentation of "Laser Country Christmas." Admission for children and college students with ID is $4 for all December shows.
