Mueller Planetarium Announces Schedule of Fall Laser Shows

Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 22, 2003 -- Mueller Planetarium at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its schedule of laser light shows for the fall semester.

The shows include Friday and Saturday evening laser rock music shows that are not intended for children, and Sunday afternoon family laser shows.

The schedule of evening laser rock shows (shows at 8 and 9:30 each night, unless otherwise noted): Sept. 27, "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon"; Oct. 3, Dave Matthews Band; Oct. 17, Led Zeppelin; Oct. 24, "Alternative Laser," featuring Staind, Cold Play, Linkin' Park and others; Oct. 31, "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon," 9:30; Nov. 1, "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon"; Nov. 7, Aerosmith; Nov. 8, KISS; Nov. 14, Dave Matthews Band; Nov. 21-22, Led Zeppelin.

Sunday family matinee shows are (shows at 3:30 p.m. each date, unless otherwise noted): Sept. 28, "Women of Pop 3.0," featuring Hillary Duff, Norah Jones, Christina Aguilera, Shania Twain, Maya, Michelle Branch and others; Oct. 5, Martina McBride, 4:30; Oct. 12, "Laser Fun 2003"; Oct. 19, Enya; Oct. 26, "Halloween Laser"; Oct. 31, "Halloween Laser," 7 and 8; Nov. 2, Toby Keith, 4:30; Nov. 9, "Laser Beatles"; Nov. 16, Enya; Nov. 23, "Laser Fun 2003."

Mueller Planetarium is in the University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall), 14th and U streets on the UNL City Campus.

Admission for evening shows is $5 for adults and $4 for college students with ID. Admission for afternoon shows is $6 for adults, $4 for children and college students with ID. The ticket price includes admission to the NU State Museum.

The schedule of laser shows is subject to change or addition.
