Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 22, 2003 -- The University Program Council at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln will celebrate its 25th anniversary by hosting a lemonade stand from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 24.
The lemonade stand will be on the Union Plaza just north of the Nebraska Union. In the case of inclement weather the event will be held inside the Nebraska Union in the Alcove.
The lemonade stand will feature lemonade and fresh baked cookies prepared by University Dining Services and shaped in the new UPC logo. Also featured at the event will be information about UPC, its upcoming events, and its 25-year history of bringing fun and educational events to campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
The University Program Council is a volunteer student organization designed to address the co-curricular, social, recreational, cultural, and educational needs of the UNL campus.
