Lincoln, Neb., Nov. 20, 2003 -- The Lincoln chapter of the Nebraska Alumni Association will present a public performance by the Scarlet and Cream Singers at 3 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Berean Church, 6400 S. 70th St. The show is free, but donations will be accepted at the door after the concert. Door prizes will be given away during intermission.
As the University of Nebraska's goodwill ambassadors for 30 years, the Scarlet and Cream Singers have performed for thousands of people at venues across the country. The musical troupe has a vast repertoire, ranging from Broadway show tunes to contemporary country and pop hits, in addition to Nebraska spirit songs.
