Lincoln (Neb.) - Sept. 18, 1998 - The International Affairs Office at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host its semiannual "Study Abroad Extravaganza" at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 in the Centennial Room of the Nebraska Union, 14th and R streets.
The event highlights opportunities available through NU's "world campus." Faculty program leaders will be on hand to answer questions.
There also will be a representative from Scholarships and Financial Aid to inform students how to use resources to study abroad. A $250 study abroad scholarship will be given away.
There also will be a panel of students who have studied abroad who will field questions from the audience and share some of their experiences.
The registration deadline for many of the spring
programs is Oct. 1.
