The team also provides assistance with event promotion and publicity, copywriting and editing, news releases and news conferences. The Scarlet newspaper and E-News weekly e-mail updates inform and engage UNL faculty and staff.

E-News is a weekly electronic announcements digest for faculty and staff at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The deadline is 5 p.m. Monday for distribution Tuesday night. All items will be archived for 18 months in the E-News Archives.

Scarlet

The Scarlet is the newspaper for faculty and staff of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is published weekly during the fall and spring semesters, and monthly during the summer.

For announcements, news briefs, and calendar items, call 472-8515, or send e-mail to scarlet@unl.edu. The deadline is noon Thursday before each week of publication. Receipt does not guarantee publication. Editors reserve the right to edit for space, clarity, grammar and style. Address changes must be made within departmental offices on the personal data form.

Letters to the Editor Policy: The Scarlet will accept submitted letters to the editor from members of the UNL campus community in an effort to foster dialogue and discussion of campus news, events and issues.
